Opening hours
Most artist shops will be open during major holidays and between late June and early October.
Off-season, shops primarily open during weekends and the town can get quite pleasantly busy with visitors.
Monday is typically a quiet day.
Bonsai
A few hundred meters before the entrance of the village you can view and buy age-old bonsai trees.
Opening hours: Daily 10:00 - 12:30; 15:30 - 19:00

Giardini
In the center of town, next to the large church, a series of gardens has been designed within the ruins of several houses that couldn't be rebuilt. A wide variety of species of plants and flowers and geraniums in particular grow in abundance in and on top of the walls. There are several terraces, each with a unique view of the town and the area, with a romantic 'honeymoon' terrace on top. You can also view a room that has been restored and furnished in its pre-earthquake state.
You can tour the giardini for a small fee but will not leave with empty hands: for every visitor there's a small gift to remember these gardens and Bussana Vecchia.

Museo Il Cuore di Bussana
A small museum dedicated to the history of Bussana and its artists, with regular expositions of new art works by italian and international artists.
