The master bedroom has many original medieval architectural features. Its structure and lighting make it into one of the most romantic rooms of the house. Besides its arched ceiling it has an ornamental frieze along the room and hexagonal tiles from the 19th century.
In the walls there are several niches which were probably used for shrines in the old days but are now used for candles and for a small artwork by the late local painter Peter van Wel.
It has a comfortable double bed (mattress size 200 x 160 cm)(80"x 64") and a cabinet with (bath & beach) towels, linen, extra pillows, washcloth etc. so no need to bring any of your own.
As everywhere, please make efficient use of towels and linen to preserve water.
